60 Plus Club

A new concept of social Club has been developed at the Centre for Deaf People in Bristol.

This new initiative is one that will take into account the more isolated Deaf Community.

There is a lack of provision for this growing army of men and women who for one reason or another find it difficult to integrate with their fellow deaf counterparts.

Of the men left behind, many are at a loss with regard to house hold issues, and perhaps cooking and shopping.

The Sixty Plus Club will:

It is proposed that the Sixty Plus Club will open Bi Weekly to start with. A small subscription will be required from each member.

The Sixty Plus Club will meet either in the Lounge area or the Conference room.

It is hoped that the Sixty Plus Club will develop into an established group with it's own identity and credibility, and one that it's users and the wider Deaf Community can be proud of.
