Centre for Deaf People Bristol
Bristol Deaf Church

Bristol Deaf Church is a Church with a difference - all the services and activities are run in British Sign Language (BSL)!
The church meets for worship in the chapel at the Centre for Deaf People in King Square on the first and third Sundays of each month at 3pm. Everyone is welcome - deaf and hearing.
The chapel is also used for celebrations, including christenings, funerals and memorial services. Although it's not licensed for weddings, the Chaplain is always glad to talk to people about services of blessing for marriage and renewal of marriage vows, perhaps for a special anniversary.
The Chaplain with the deaf community is Gill Behenna. She is employed by the Diocese of Bristol (Church of England) but the church services are open to people of any church tradition or none.

Someone to talk to
Sometimes, people want the chance to talk about life and some of the problems they face. Sometimes people want to discuss questions of life or faith. Sometimes people have difficult decisions to make and want to talk them over with someone. The Chaplain maybe able to help; why not contact her?.
