Transitions Project

“Hello, my names Rory.

In this section, I will talk about the transitions project.

The project aims to facilitate the smooth transition from teenage years to adulthood.

In the project we motivate and encourage young people. We help to build up their confidence, learn new skills, make new friends and give them new experiences.

We also organise outings, for example, we went to Wales on an outdoor activity trip, we've been to London and met other deaf groups...An opportunity to socialise and learn new things.

Over the last three years, sixty young people have participated in the transitions project, fourty of which are now in college, university or employment.

If you're interested in finding out more about the transitions project, please click here and contact us...Thankyou.”

What is Transition Project?

Full Potential

If you want to be involved we will provide a residential week/weekend focusing on life/social skills where you will do lots of different activities and meet lots of new friends.

At the end of the residential week/weekend we help you with ‘ILP’ ‘Individual Learning Plan’ which will help us to help you achieve your dream goal, employment, go on college/University courses, and youth and leisure opportunities.
